About Longridge Daylight 10k Trail Run
Longridge Daylight 10k Trail Run takes runners across bridleways, riverside footpaths and open farmland in the Ribble Valley on 11 October 2026. Based at Ribble View Stud on Alston Lane, the elevated start offers views over the River Ribble. The 10 km trail route uses the same paths as the organiser's popular Lamplight 10k, with a GPX file available for those wanting to plan ahead.
Organised by Longridge and North Preston Rotary Club in support of Chipping Football Club's new 3G football pitch, the event welcomes runners aged 18 and over. Post-race, participants receive a free meal and a snood, with a gin distillery bar operating at the start and finish line for drinks.
