About Love Luton RunFest
Luton's town centre hosts the Love Luton RunFest this October, a community running festival now in its 13th year. Runners can choose between a 5 km, 10 km or half marathon on traffic-free road routes that loop through the area's parks and green spaces. All three distances start and finish at St George's Square in the heart of town.
The half marathon follows the Hatters Way busway, which is fully closed for the event. Finishers across all distances receive a souvenir medal, and podium prizes are awarded to the top three male and female runners in each race, with additional age-category prizes for the half marathon as part of the Beds County Championship. The Danny McCormack Memorial Young Person's trophy will also be presented on the day.
