About Lowestoft Scores Race
Runners return to Lowestoft's historic Scores for the 27th running of this established trail race. Organised by Waveney Valley Athletic Club, the event takes place on Sunday 30 August 2026, starting and finishing in the upper high street before passing through the characterful Scores area with its stepped and sloped sections.
Two races cater to different age groups: a Senior race for competitors aged 16 and over, and a Junior race for those aged 9 and upwards. Race headquarters at Christchurch provides changing facilities, bag drop and post-race refreshments, with prize-giving following the races. The event is licensed by UK Athletics and supported by Lowestoft Town Council.
