Three trail routes set across rolling Teesdale terrain make up LRC Tees Trailtastic, taking place on 4 July 2027 near Barnard Castle in County Durham. Runners can choose between 3.5 miles, 9 miles or 15 miles, with all courses following sections of the Teesdale Way and featuring gentle inclines and descents. The event is based at the TCR Hub in Barnard Castle.
All routes are waymarked, marshalled and signposted throughout. Aid stations stocked with water and fuel are positioned at intervals along each course—one for the shortest distance, two for the 9-mile route and four for the 15-mile option. A five-hour cut-off applies across all distances. Optional group warm-up and post-run yoga sessions are available, and participants receive professional photographs at the finish. Basic facilities including toilets are provided at the event base.
