About Made of Steel - 24hrs
Based at OnePlanet Adventure in Llandegla, Wales, Made of Steel - 24hrs challenges runners to cover as much distance as possible within a single day and night. The event takes place on 11 and 12 September 2026 and is open to adults aged 18 and over, who can enter as individuals or as pairs.
The course consists of a marked trail loop of approximately 3 miles, with around 144 metres of elevation gain per lap. Runners tackle forest trails with varying terrain throughout the 24-hour window. In team entries, participants tag each other so one team member is always on the course. Prizes are awarded to both the individual and team winners. The event is organised by The Engine Works and forms part of an Ultra Endurance Running Series.
