The route ascends Worcestershire Hill before following the Malverns ridge from north to south, taking in the summits along the way. The return leg explores lesser-known trails on the hillsides and through nearby woodlands, offering fresh perspectives on the terrain.
With over 1300 metres of ascent, this is a substantial hill run suited to those able to maintain around 10 minutes per mile on trails. The guided route takes place on 17 April 2027, starting from North Quarry Car Park in Great Malvern. Led by an experienced trail runner, mountain leader and coach, the event emphasises group participation rather than racing, with participants moving together throughout.
