About Middlewich 5K
On Sunday 9 May 2027, Middlewich hosts a 5 kilometre trail run that takes competitors on a largely flat circuit around the town's canals and footpaths. The officially measured course includes the Middlewich 3 Lock Challenge amongst its mostly off-road terrain. Starting from The Big Lock Pub, the route finishes at Middlewich Cricket Club, where registration, refreshments and goody bags are available for all participants.
The run is chip timed and takes place on open paths with public access to sections of the route. Registration takes place on the day at the cricket club, with additional refreshments available at The Big Lock. Prizes go to the top three male and female finishers, and to winners in selected veteran categories.
