About Midweek Medal Madness Run August
Wraysbury Skiff and Punting Club in Surrey hosts a trail-based timed challenge in August where runners set their own distance targets across a 7-hour window. Participants complete laps of the course, with each full circuit measuring 7 km. A 3 km option and 5 km turnaround point are available within the lap structure, making it possible to tackle distances from the minimum 3 km right through to 50 km and beyond.
Runners can complete as many or as few laps as they choose during the seven-hour timeframe. Three laps totals a half marathon distance, six laps equals a marathon, and seven or more laps enters ultramarathon territory. A fuel table is stationed at the start and finish of each lap, and finishers receive a medal and goody bag, with special distance pins awarded for half marathon distances and longer.
