Moel Famau 24 suits runners and walkers seeking a flexible hill challenge on the slopes of the Clwydian Range. Taking place on 15 August 2026 near Ruthin, the event is built around a 7.2 km trail loop with approximately 500 metres of ascent per lap, based at Plas Dolben Farm. Participants can choose between 12-hour or 24-hour formats, entering as individuals or teams, with each team member required to complete at least one lap.
The event operates from a camp field where competitors can rest between efforts as needed, supported by a feed station, showers and covered rest areas. Electronic timing and GPS tracking record each lap, with results tracked separately for solo runners and teams across both time categories. Finishers receive a medal and certificate.
