About Montane Ullswater Way Trail Ultra, 20 & 10
Set in the Lake District around Ullswater, this trail event on 23 May 2027 offers runners three distance options following the established Ullswater Way route. Participants can choose between 10, 20 or 34 miles of trail running, with headquarters based at Jenkins Field in Glenridding. The minimum age is 16 for the shorter distances and 18 for the 34-mile ultra.
The 34-mile route includes designated feed stations and checkpoints, including stops at Pooley Bridge (18.5 miles) and Aira Force (30.5 miles), with cut-off times in place at these points and the finish. All runners must carry items from the compulsory kit list. Those entering the 10-mile race register at Jenkins Field before travelling to the Pooley Bridge start.
