About Morland Half Marathon
Trail running and walking in the Eden Valley: the Morland Half Marathon welcomes both runners and walkers aged 17 and over to tackle a 13.1-mile route across mixed terrain in Westmorland and Furness. Based around the village of Morland near Penrith, the course climbs 1330 feet as it winds through woodlands, pastures and along rivers and becks, passing through several Eden Valley villages. Much of the route is off-road and largely self-navigated, though signage is in place and an OS Maps route is provided for navigation.
Support comes at two checkpoints offering water and snacks. The event takes place on 15 August 2027.
