About MTC JOGLE: From John OGroats to Lands End
MTC JOGLE takes runners on the legendary John o'Groats to Lands End route over 17 days in March 2027. Starting from Ness of Huna in the Scottish Highlands, this 860-mile trail ultra follows the classic north-to-south journey across Britain, with 16,604 metres of ascent and 16,589 metres of descent to navigate. The course is amended annually to improve safety and competitor experience.
This is a self-sufficient event, so runners must arrange their own transport to the start and from the finish. A minimum pace of 4 mph is required throughout. All finishers receive a medal, finisher's technical t-shirt, and trophy, along with personalised hi-viz kit provided at the start. The event awards UTMB points for those aiming to qualify for longer mountain ultras.
