About Mud Tribe
Mud Tribe is a muddy obstacle course event taking place at Kelvedon Hall in Brentwood, Essex on 4 September 2027. Participants can choose between two trail-based routes: a 5 km option featuring additional mud and foam obstacles, or a shorter 6 km alternative. The obstacles are designed to be accessible across a range of fitness levels and ages, with no requirement for upper body strength. The course includes foam and water features but does not involve full water submersion.
Runners complete the course at their own pace without chip timing. The event village offers hot wash downs, changing rooms and a bag drop, with finisher medals and complimentary photos provided. Family-friendly entertainment includes music and face painting. Under 16s must be accompanied by a paying adult. The site is accessible from Brentwood mainline station (about 15 minutes by taxi) and Epping Underground station, with road links to the A12, M25 and M11.
