About Mugdock Country Park Running Festival
Mugdock Country Park hosts this running festival on 31 October 2026, offering trail races across 5 km and 10 km distances. Runners navigate the park's terrain with support from on-course marshals, kilometre markers and visible signage throughout.
The 5 km race is open to runners aged 11 and above, while the 10 km is for those 15 and over. Both distances are chip timed on accurately measured courses. Participants can expect an instructor-led warm-up before racing, with hydration stations positioned along the route. Standard headphones are not permitted, though bone conduction headphones are acceptable. Dogs are not allowed on the course.
