About Muker Show Fell Race
Muker Show Fell Race has been a fixture in the local calendar since at least 1997, returning each year to the Swaledale village for a short, sharp test on the fells. Taking place on Wednesday 2 September 2026, the 1.4-mile trail race climbs 550 feet as it descends to and crosses the river, scales the far side to Fremington Edge, and returns via the fields to the finish near Muker Public Hall on the B6270.
The race counts as a BOFRA Senior Championship counter and welcomes age categories from Under 12 through to Seniors, offering runners of various abilities a chance to compete on this established course in North Yorkshire.
