About Mynydd Maen Traverse
Mynydd Maen Traverse takes runners onto the trails near Pontypool on 22 August 2026. The main course covers approximately 10 km with 291 metres of climbing across terrain on Mynydd Maen, and is open to adults aged 18 and over. A junior race is also part of the programme, alongside team entry in groups of three.
Starting from Mountain Air car park on Mountain Road in Penyrhoel, the event is organised under WFRA insurance.
