About Nairn Half Marathon
This trail half marathon in Highland takes runners along the Moray Firth coastline near Nairn on 15 August 2026. Starting and finishing within the Games arena at The Links, the 13.1-mile route passes the beach, harbour and open countryside before returning to the arena.
Organised by Nairn Road Runners as part of the Nairn Highland Games, the race offers a distinctive experience that combines competitive running with the atmosphere of a traditional Highland Games. Runners finish to the sound of massed pipes and drums within the arena itself.
