About NAV4 Daffodil Run
Taking place on 6 March 2027, the NAV4 Daffodil Run and Walk is based at Pooley Bridge Memorial Hall in Westmorland and Furness. Participants can choose between 6 mile and 10 mile trail routes, both following an out and back course to Hallin Fell mainly via the Ullswater Way. The terrain is mixed, incorporating trails, paths, a short tarmac lane section and open slopes, with some underfoot conditions likely to be wet.
Multiple start windows accommodate walkers, slower runners and faster runners at different paces. The signposted route features marshals at key points, and a checkpoint with drinks station at Martindale Church is passed twice on the longer distance. Electronic timing is in use throughout. Solo entries and family team entries (up to six people) are available, with different pricing for under 14s. After finishing, participants can enjoy refreshments in the hall or at nearby local pubs and cafes.
