Nav4 organises this supported fell walking and running event around Ullswater in the Lake District. Taking place on 31 October 2026, it offers two clockwise routes starting and finishing in Pooley Bridge: a 20 mile route and a 24 mile challenge, both traversing trail terrain with a mix of wide tracks, narrow rocky paths and some tarmac sections.
Both routes pass key landmarks including The Cockpit, Howtown and Hallin Fell before reaching Glenridding, where participants select between a low level lakeshore route or the higher Glencoyne traverse. The high level section uses narrow fell paths and steeper terrain; in bad weather this section closes and all participants follow the lower 20 mile option instead. The route is waymarked with Lake District National Park and Ullswater Way signs, supported by event staff at checkpoints offering food and drink. Times are recorded, though the event is organised as a supported activity rather than a competitive race. Participants should carry suitable clothing and footwear including a waterproof jacket, plus a drinks bottle for checkpoints. The event is limited to 125 participants with a minimum age of 16.
