About NDRC & Run Forest Summer Series August
A 5 km road race on an accurately measured course at Queen's Park in Chesterfield, this event forms the final race in the North Derbyshire RC Summer Series on 21 August 2026. The flat route is designed for fast times, whether runners are chasing a personal best or simply enjoying a summer evening outing.
The series spans four events across the season, with overall and age category prizes awarded to those completing at least three races. The event runs under UK Athletics rules and is organised by North Derbyshire Running Club. Only bone conduction headphones are permitted during the race.
