About New Forest Brockenhurst Trail Run
Nestled within the New Forest National Park, this trail running event starts near Brockenhurst at Roundhill Campsite and takes runners through ancient woodland and heathland on well-maintained gravel paths. Three distances are available: 10 km, 17 km and 22 km, with the longer routes featuring modest elevation gain across slightly undulating terrain. The trails are solid underfoot and suitable in varied weather conditions, and runners may spot New Forest wildlife including ponies, horses, donkeys, pigs and deer grazing nearby.
The course is fully marked with pink arrows and tape, with caution signs at hazards and road junctions. On-course refreshments and marshals support runners along the route, with first aid cover available. Finishers receive a medal, certificate and goodies, while the event operates a plastic-free policy and participants are encouraged to bring a reusable cup or bottle.
