About New Forest Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K & 5K
Runners can choose from four distances at this New Forest trail running event: a full marathon, half marathon, 10K or 5K. Taking place on 13 September 2026 from New Park Manor Hotel and Spa near Brockenhurst, the routes wind through the New Forest National Park, combining forest tracks, gravel paths, quiet roads and open heathland.
The event caters to all abilities, from first-time runners to experienced marathoners. Chip timing and volunteer support are in place across the courses. Beyond the racing itself, the event features a race village with food and drink, live entertainment, camping facilities and family-friendly activities, creating a festival atmosphere. Encounters with the New Forest's free-roaming ponies, cattle and deer are part of the experience.
