About New Forest Stinger
Totton Running Club hosts this 10 mile trail race in the New Forest, taking place on 22 November 2026 at Ocknell Campsite near Lyndhurst. The undulating route uses a section of the forest that opens only occasionally for running events, offering a distinctive off-road experience.
The event is organised under a Trail Running Association permit and UK Athletics rules. Race HQ is based at the campsite, with the start line located about 1 km away. Age category trophies are awarded in the 40+, 50+, 60+ and 70+ groups, alongside prizes for the first three finishers overall. Numbers are collected on the day, and facilities including water stations and toilets are available at Race HQ.
