About Newmacher 10K
Newmachar's 10K draws on strong community roots, with local volunteers and residents out supporting runners along a well-marked single-lap course. Starting and finishing at Charlie Gordons Park, the 10 km route is almost entirely on tarmac and takes in notable climbs across Disblair Hill and Middleton Hill before looping through the countryside surrounding the Aberdeenshire village.
The hilly terrain and community atmosphere make this September race a fixture for runners seeking a challenging but friendly local event. Finishers receive a medal and goodie bag.
