About Nidderdale Way Weekend Saturday
The Nidderdale Way Ultra takes runners on a complete 55 mile circuit of the Nidderdale Way, starting and finishing in Pateley Bridge. The route traces a loop through North Yorkshire's varied landscape, passing Ripley Castle, Brimham Rocks, Scar House Reservoir and How Stean Gorge along the way. Competitors will navigate roughly 7,500ft of climbing across a mixture of trails, valleys, moorland and hilly countryside, with navigation aided by existing Nidderdale Way waymarkers.
The event carries 3 ITRA points and holds a UTMB 100K Index classification. Checkpoints are positioned throughout the course providing refreshments, and all entrants are supplied with a GPS tracker. The race takes place on 24 October 2026 on the trails around Bewerley in North Yorkshire.
