About Night On The Edge
Night on the Edge takes runners along the Cornish South West Coast Path after dark, with the event base at Mount Edgcumbe in Cremyll, Torpoint. Starting from Mount Edgcumbe, the route follows coastal footpaths through Cawsand, with the half marathon distance extending to Rame Head Chapel. Runners can choose between 5 km, 10 km or 13.1 mile options on 5 December 2026. The course is marshalled throughout, and a three hour cut-off applies across all distances.
The event includes timing, professional first aid and category prizes. Parking is available at nearby pay-and-display car parks and at the Edgcumbe Arms. Given the location, organisers recommend considering ferry access between Plymouth and Cremyll or Torpoint rather than driving, as ferry services operate into the early evening.
