About North Devon Marathon, Half Marathon and 10K
North Devon's coastal landscape forms the backdrop for this 10k trail run taking place on Sunday 27 June 2027. Based at The Meadow Playing Fields in Woolacombe, the event follows public footpaths, private land and rugged coastal terrain as it winds through the area. Organised by North Devon Hospice, the race uses chip timing and staggered starts by distance, with awards determined by fastest time within each category.
The event village at the playing fields hosts registration, a water refill bar, catering and a massage tent staffed by sports massage students. Runners receive a finisher's medal and complimentary cream tea upon completion. The course is supported by 12 water stations and marshals with trained first aid staff positioned along the route. Participants are asked to pledge a donation to support hospice care.
