About North Downs Run
The North Downs Run takes runners on a 30 km trail route through Kent countryside, starting and finishing at Cyclopark in Gravesham. Held annually by Istead & Ifield Harriers, the event is run on a not-for-profit basis and is licensed by Run Britain, having received the BARR Gold Rating for Outstanding Race Management in 2023.
Recent editions have attracted around 373 finishers, with results recorded across overall places, age category winners and BMAF categories. Proceeds from the race support local charities including Ellenor, Darent Valley Hospital, the Elliott Holmes Memorial Fund and BEAM. The next edition takes place on 27 June 2027.
