About Northants 5K Race Series 4
On Wednesday 12 August 2026, the fourth race in the Northants 5K Series takes place at Fermyn Woods Country Park in Brigstock, near Kettering. This trail-based 5K follows the multi-terrain format that defines the series, weaving through the ancient woodland south of Corby.
Finishers receive a bespoke race medal with a unique design for this event. Runners unable to attend in person can complete the race virtually and have their medal posted to them. The minimum age is 11; children aged 11 and 12 must be accompanied by an adult entrant around the course. Route maps will be available beforehand via the Northamptonshire Sport Event Hub. On race day, race packs and numbers are collected from the red Nsport gazebo, toilet facilities are available, and the park cafe will be open before and after the race.
