About NSCCL Betley Farm
The opening round of the North Staffs Cross Country League takes place on trail terrain at Betley Farm near Crewe on 26 September 2026. This is the first of four races that make up the league's annual competition, which spans North Staffordshire and South Cheshire.
The league operates team and individual competitions with scoring based on finishing positions across all four races. Age categories are assigned according to age on 31 August, with Under 11s required to be at least 9 years old on race day. Runners must be first claim members of an affiliated club and wear their club colours. Senior leagues are split into two divisions with promotion and relegation available for the top and bottom teams.
