About Nuclear Rush
Nuclear Rush brings an obstacle course event to the Secret Nuclear Bunker Estate near Brentwood, taking runners across farmland, woodlands and lakes with a mix of natural and man-made obstacles. Participants can choose between a 6 km course (open to those aged 13 and over with adult accompaniment for under-16s) or a 12 km course (for participants aged 16 and over). The event takes place on 8–9 May 2027.
The course features signature obstacles including the 20 foot Deathslide, the Travelator and multi-lane zip wires into water. Buoyancy aids are provided for water sections, and there is no penalty for skipping any obstacle. Basic facilities for competitors include hot washdowns, changing areas, free car parking and a bag drop service.
