Trail running in Devon's Teignbridge area takes centre stage at Oh My Obelisk, where two route options wind through countryside near Dawlish. Both courses start and finish at Dawlish Leisure Centre, mixing mud, hills, fields, woodland tracks and quiet country lanes. The 9 mile route loops back through fields and lanes, while the 14 mile option extends further into Mamhead forest, passing the Obelisk before returning to the leisure centre.
Taking place on 17 January 2027, the event is ARC permitted and welcomes runners seeking variety in terrain and distance. The longer route has a cut-off point at one hour for the first 4.5 miles; those arriving after this will be directed to complete the shorter course instead. Runners should bring their own bottle for refill stations at the event, and parking at the leisure centre is limited, with additional paid parking available nearby.
