About One Foot In The Gargrave
A 23 mile trail walk or run starting from Gargrave Village Hall in the heart of Malhamdale, North Yorkshire. Participants have nine hours to complete the course, with a 3pm cut-off at Checkpoint 3 (16.2 miles). Those unable to reach this point by the deadline will be asked to retire from the event.
Taking place on 5 September 2026, the event is restricted to 200 entries. Dogs are not permitted due to livestock in the area and to maintain good relationships with local farmers. Limited parking is available at the village hall itself, with additional spaces on Mark House Lane just over the canal bridge, a short walk from the start.
