About OUTrun
OUTrun is a 5 mile road race through one of Glasgow's most distinctive green spaces. Hosted by Glasgow FrontRunners and taking place on 22 August 2026, the route combines loops around Kelvingrove Park with an out and back section along the River Kelvin, finishing at the iconic Kelvingrove Bandstand.
The event features electronic chip timing, a pre-race warm up, bag drop, live entertainment and post-race refreshments. A prize ceremony recognises performances across multiple categories. OUTrun also raises funds for a local LGBTQIA+ charity through donations and a post-race bake sale, drawing runners from across the UK to Scotland's largest LGBTQIA+ race.
