Running a mile every hour for 24 consecutive hours on an off-road trail through a Surrey wine estate presents an unusual test of endurance. P24 – The Longest Attended Day takes place at Denbies Wine Estate in Dorking on 19 June 2027, with participants tackling the same flat trail loop repeatedly across the full day and night.
The event accommodates overnight runners with onsite facilities including 24-hour toilet access and daytime cafe services offering hot food and refreshments. Tent camping is available for those who need rest between miles, though runners may also remain onsite without pitching. A virtual component runs simultaneously, allowing remote participants to join the 24-hour challenge.
Runners who complete all 24 miles receive chip timing records and a finisher's medal. Places for the attended event are limited. UK Athletics age restrictions apply to participants aged 20 or under.
