About Peacock Plod
The Peacock Plod takes place at Hockwold Hall, a former Royal Residence on the Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire border, and offers runners a genuinely flexible format. Starting together at 11am on 13 September 2026, participants choose their own distance by looping a 5.3km trail circuit as many times as they wish. Options range from 5km up to 32 miles, with standard distances at 10km, 13.1 miles, 15km and 26.2 miles also available.
The event takes runners through the hall's landscaped parkland, with mature trees, open lawns and period features forming the backdrop. Whether aiming for a personal best or simply enjoying the grounds at a comfortable pace, participants can run, jog or walk their chosen distance. Chip timing is included for all distances, and every finisher receives equal celebration regardless of how far they've travelled.
