On 18 October 2026, Peak Raid Race 2 takes place in Edale, Derbyshire. This three-hour fell running event is part of a series across the Peak District, featuring moorland and limestone dales with varied terrain and footpaths. Competitors navigate using a score format, receiving a waterproof map and control descriptions with assigned points values, then choosing their own route to visit controls within the time limit. Points are deducted for late return.

The event suits those with good route choice and navigation skills. Runners may enter solo or in pairs, and both walking and jogging are permitted. Age categories are determined by age on 31 December 2026, with pairs placed in the older competitor's category. Juniors must be at least 14, though younger competitors can enter with a parent or guardian (who must be over 21). Fifteen competition categories include male and female veteran classes and mixed pairs. All competitors must carry FRA mandatory minimum kit including waterproof jacket and trousers with taped seams and attached hood, hat, gloves, map, compass, whistle, emergency food and survival bag; kit will be checked before the race.
