About Peak Raid Mountain Marathon
Peak Raid Mountain Marathon is a score event held annually in the Derbyshire Dales, where runners navigate trails across the Peak District landscape. The 2026 edition takes place on Sunday, 6 December, with staggered starts between 8:00 and 10:00. Participants have three hours to complete the course, either competing solo or in pairs.
Runners receive a pre-printed waterproof map to guide them over the 26.2-mile trail route. The event welcomes entrants aged 14 and over, with under-18s requiring a parent or guardian. Post-race refreshments of hot drinks and flapjack are provided.
