About Peak Raid Race 3 Eastern Moors
Taking place on 15 November 2026, Peak Raid Race 3 Eastern Moors is a 3-hour trail running event based at Lady Wall Well in the Derbyshire Dales. Using a score format, runners select their own route and navigate between controls to accumulate points within the time limit, making strategy and route choice key to success. The event suits different abilities and paces, with participants choosing how hard or easy to push themselves.
This is the third race in the Peak Raid 2026 series. Runners compete solo or in pairs across varying Peak District terrain, from high moorland requiring accurate navigation to more runnable limestone dale areas. Mandatory kit includes waterproof jacket and trousers with taped seams, hat, gloves, compass, whistle, map and emergency food. Registration opens at 7:30 am with staggered starts between 8 am and 10 am in five-minute time slots. Age categories are determined by age on 31 December 2026, with prizes awarded to top three finishers in each category (minimum entry requirement applies).
