About Peak Raid Race 4 Alstonefield South
Peak Raid Race 4 Alstonefield South takes place on 6 December 2026 at Alstonefield Memorial Hall and Community Centre in the Staffordshire Moorlands. This is a 3-hour trail running event where competitors navigate the Peak District hills, moors and dales using their own route choice and navigation skills.
The event uses a score format, allowing runners to collect points by visiting control points within the three-hour time limit. Participants can go as hard or as easy as they like, selecting their strategy based on ability, terrain and conditions. Solo runners and pairs can both enter, with registration opening from 7:30 am and staggered starts between 8 am and 10 am. Mandatory kit includes waterproof jacket and trousers, hat, gloves, map, compass, whistle, emergency food and a survival bag.
This is the fourth race in a four-part Peak Raid series. Competitors' best three results count towards an overall league standings, with prizes awarded to top finishers in each age category.
