About Pen Llyn Ultra - Winter Edition
The Pen Llyn Ultra Winter Edition takes runners and hikers across the Llŷn Peninsula, a dramatic stretch of North Wales coastline, for a 36-mile trail challenge. Starting from Tafarn y Fic in Llithfaen on 7 November, participants have up to 12 hours to complete the course, with a 07:00 start and 19:00 cut-off. The route is marked throughout and supported by aid station teams at four fully stocked vegan-friendly checkpoints plus two water stations.
The event welcomes relay teams alongside individual entrants, making it accessible to those who prefer shorter stretches or want to tackle it as a group. Live timing and a race tracker keep participants and supporters informed throughout the day.
