About Pendine Sands Races
Pendine Sands Races offers runners the chance to race on the firm sand of this famous Welsh beach. Taking place on 11 April 2027, the event features a 10 km distance on a measured out-and-back route. All races start and finish near Barnacles Cafe at Pendine, with a maximum time limit of four hours to complete the course.
Water stations are positioned at the start and at two points along the beach route. Runners must bring their own reusable cup. All finishers receive a bespoke Pendine medal, with trophies awarded to the male and female winners of each race distance.
