About Pendle 5 Mile Trail Race
The Pendle 5 Mile Trail Race returns to the Pendleside village of Barley, revived by Pendle Trail Running Club following a period away. Starting and finishing in the village, this 5 mile trail route winds through undulating countryside encompassing track, fields, woodland, lanes and riverside paths. The race is licensed by the Trail Running Association and run under UK Athletics rules.
Participants must be aged 18 or over on the race date. Prizes are awarded to the top three male and female finishers, with every runner receiving a race memento. The event takes place on 20 March 2027.
