About Petzl Night Trails 10K | Salcey Forest
Petzl Night Trails has built a reputation across the Midlands for atmospheric nocturnal running, and this 10K edition takes place through Salcey Forest near Northampton on 20 November 2026. Runners tackle two laps of a flat crushed stone trail through the ancient woodland, navigating by head torch after dark. The event is organised in partnership with Petzl, who will have a team on site to demonstrate their torches.
Located just nine minutes from Junction 15 of the M1, the forest is a Forestry England site with a cafe and toilets available. Dogs are welcome and start ten minutes ahead of the main field. Hot drinks are served before and after the race, with finishers receiving medals and goodies.
