About PFW Running - The Bog Trotter 10k
Blackpool's trail running scene gains a 10k addition with The Bog Trotter, a single-loop race organised by PFW Running on 29 November 2026. The undulating course weaves mostly through trail paths with a brief pavement section, taking in views of local landmarks including Blackpool Tower and Stanley Park whilst passing Marton Mere nature reserve, Herons Reach golf course and Blackpool Zoo.
The race starts and finishes near the Village Hotel on East Park Drive. Runners must be aged 18 or over, and the field is capped at 150 participants. All finishers receive a medal, with on-course and post-race refreshments available throughout the event.
