About Phil and Bonnie Bounder 6K Forest Run
A 10 kilometre trail run through Moreton Forest and adjoining woodland, taking place on 13 September 2026. The route follows mixed forest tracks and woodland paths with sweeping wide tracks alongside rough and undulating terrain, complete with tree roots underfoot. Runners will encounter two stiles and a stream crossing, with the final kilometre switching to a quiet country road. After rain, muddy sections are likely.
The race starts and finishes at Moreton Village Hall in Dorset. It's open to runners aged 16 and over. The event is held in memory of two individuals and supports two charities: Bonnie's Last Wish for Suffering Donkeys and Mosaic, a Dorset-based charity supporting bereaved children and young people. The run is licensed by the Trail Running Association and organised under UK Athletic rules.
