About PHOENIX - Remembrance Day Marathon & Half Marathon
Phoenix Running, now in their 12th year of organising South-East events, brings the PHOENIX Remembrance Day Marathon & Half Marathon to Walton-on-Thames on 8 November 2026. Taking place on trail terrain at the Xcel Sports Hub in Elmbridge, Surrey, runners can choose between the half marathon (13.1 miles) or marathon (26.2 miles) distance, both on accurately measured and UKA certified routes. The race features flexible start times and includes a special race freeze at 11am.
The event welcomes runners of all abilities. Both distances comprise laps of the same course, with half marathoners completing two laps and marathon runners four. Facilities include toilets at multiple points along the route, plus the nearby Weir Pub offers spectator facilities and serves as a convenient vantage point near the start and finish line. Free parking is available with a short walk to the start.
