The course follows a lapped format on hard-packed and riverside trails, with each lap covering 3.28 miles and approximately 187 feet of elevation gain. Participants choose how many laps to complete within the 7-hour window, allowing them to work towards various standard distances. An aid station operates throughout the day with water, squash, snacks and fruit, while registration and facilities are based at The Sunnywood Hub. Public parking is available within the country park, much of it free.
The event runs as a flexible "rock up and run" format. All finishers receive a commemorative medal or memento. Runners under 21 are subject to UK Athletics distance restrictions.
