About Phoenix Running - Trelewis
A seven-hour timed event at Rock UK Summit Centre in Trelewis, participants can run as many laps as they wish within the time limit. The out-and-back course covers 5.3 km per lap, with a 10 km option also available. The multi-terrain route uses mostly tarmac paths through Parc Taf Bargoed, a Green Flag park, with approximately half a mile on riverside trail and 37 m of elevation gain across the course.
The event operates a flexible "rock up and run" start format, allowing runners to begin at different times throughout the day. A Welsh Athletics race license has been applied for, and same-day results will be provided.
