About Phoenix Running - Weir Wood Reservoir
A multi-day festival of running at Weir Wood Reservoir in Mid Sussex across 24 and 25 July 2027, this event offers runners a choice of formats around a compact 1 mile trail loop. Solo participants can enter 24, 12 or 8 hour timed challenges, while teams of two to eight compete in 24 hour relays. The hourly lap format gives those chasing the P24 and P12 challenges a different rhythm, with a shorter Sunrise Run also available on the final day.
The loop itself travels from the main camping field along a tree lined grass alley into woodland and back, with grass and compact trail surfaces creating an undulating course. Those entering the 8 hour option can camp overnight, and camping is included for all participants who pitch their own tent. The event runs from Blackland Farm, East Grinstead.
